Some type of Mediterranean cuisine 7 days a week is perfect.

NEVER get my coffee from the Green Mermaid.

L.A. Clothing Brand Opens On King Street

Buck Mason has opened at 263 King Street.

In yet another sign of King Street’s appeal to small but successful fashion brands from somewhere else, this is the 1st South Carolina location for the L.A.-based company.

Founded in 2013 in Venice, Calif., by Sasha Koehn and Ford, Buck Mason started out of a 350-square-foot garage with locally-made jeans and tees and a simple goal to make clothing that will stand the test of time, its website states.

 

Renovation Underway For “Mystery Retailer”s 2nd Mount Pleasant Store

In more confirmation of the worst-kept secret in town, demolition work has begun on part of the interior of a former supermarket site that Trader Joe’s is eyeing to open a second Charleston-area grocery store.

An on-site crew member from the company that is doing demolition work at the former Bi-Lo space confirmed the work is being done for Trader Joe’s.

 

New Chinese Brasserie Opens On Peninsula

Highly anticipated restaurant XO Brasserie opened this week on Morrison Drive.

The newcomer is the first restaurant from Herman Ng, a former manager at spots like Oak Steakhouse and Royal Tern.
