Charleston Happenings Vol. 53

French-inspired Restaurant Opening On Peninsula

A CIA-grad—that would be Culinary Institute of America—is opening his own restaurant in downtown’s Harleston Village this summer.

Along with his wife, Courtney, Michael Zentner willl open Merci at 28 Pitt Street, a building that dates from the 1820’s.

What I love about this story is Michael’s extensive experience. He’s paid his dues working for others. Now he gets his chance.

It doesn’t hurt that desserts will be a focus. 😋
